Gaming Incentives

As gratitude for participating in a cross-club event, gamers in the ICTE are eligible for certain awards. These awards are given out to members based on the number of games they play in and how many of those they win or lose. Each clubs reserves the right to award as little or as much as it wants to. While the award systems in all of the participating clubs are very diverse in nature, most clubs will in some way recognize their member's efforts in the ICTE with a form of merit award or other accumulating non-merit award.

As a simple example, the Dark Brotherhood awards its members a very low-level non-merit award called a Cluster of Fire (CF) for a single match. Losers in this match receive 1/3 of a CF. In team matches, the number of clusters earned is quickly magnified - i.e. in a 2vs2 match each member of the winning team would be eligible for 2 CFs each while members of the losing team can achieve 2/3 of a CF each. At the end of the day, all of the CFs are tallied up and awarded. The top scoring members (as many as 3), should they meet certain requirements, are also eligible for a mid-level competition award and are recognized in weekly reports on the club website.
